About ASCO

ASCO is a part of Navigators, a combination that brings together successful organisations dedicated to helping companies manage a wide range of complex risks through customised insurance coverage and solutions.

Asco Continentale Verzekeringen NV (Continental Insurances, or abbreviated: ASCO) was established 15th January 1929, albeit under a different name. In 1968 the name was changed to `Assurances Continentales – Continentale Verzekeringen´. Today ASCO is a specialty insurer, active within non-life insurance.

ASCO cooperates closely with underwriting agent BDM, acting as one of BDM´s risk carriers (amongst other insurers). BDM, on the other hand, fulfils certain operational services for the account of ASCO.

Customer service and flexibility are ASCO´s strengths. This is reflected in a diversified portfolio of insurance products and services in marine and property and casualty.
